In the first nine months of 2010, the consolidated turnover increased 8.0% to € 299.6 million. Organic growth was 2.8%.
Ger van Jeveren, CEO of Arseus: “We are very pleased with the developments in the third quarter. All divisions contributed to the turnover growth of 8.8%, 2.9% of which was organic. The strong development in turnover at Fagron and Corilus continued unabated. Despite the restructuring, Arseus Dental saw modest growth and Arseus Medical is once again building its strength, thanks to the strategic repositioning of its product offering.
With our unique combination of activities in professional healthcare, our strong market positions and our healthy financial situation, we are ideally positioned to proceed with the further implementation of our strategy. We are confident about the future and we confirm our earlier expectations for 2010 as a whole.”
