Waregem (Belgium), 25 May 2009 – The Executive Committee of Arseus has appointed Mr Dirk Van Lerberghe General Manager of Corilus.

Mr Van Lerberghe is highly experienced in internationalising IT-solutions and in building dealer networks. He has also gained extensive experience in the medical sector through the creation and development of an application for automating surgical operating departments. With this background he is decidedly qualified to expand Corilus’ activities in Europe. Mr Van Lerberghe will report directly to Arseus’ Executive Committee.

Ronny Robbrecht, General Manager of Corilus Belgium: “We are confident that we can adapt several of our Belgium-oriented software applications to meet the wants and needs of the European market. Our staff are already involved in installing our Softalmo, Clinidoc and Cinnaber software packages for medical specialists and veterinarians in France.”

Corilus provides total automation solutions, including software, for a wide range of medical and paramedical professions. Corilus realises approximately 85% of its turnover in Belgium. Its remaining turnover is generated in France, through software specifically developed for ‘Centres de Soins‘ and ophthalmologists, and in the Netherlands, through veterinary software. Moreover, having acquired Julie-Owandy in April 2008, Arseus is market leader in dental software in France with more than 14,000 French dentists currently using Julie’s dental software.

Ger van Jeveren, CEO of Arseus: “The successful introduction of Corilus’ high-quality software solutions in other European countries will give rise to company growth, which in turn will enable Corilus to develop into a key player on the European medical software market.”
