Nazareth (Belgium)/Rotterdam (The Netherlands)1, 5 October 2017

Fagron announces today the acquisition of All Chemistry, a well-known and respected supplier of pharmaceutical raw materials to compounding pharmacies in Brazil. In 2016, All Chemistry realized a turnover of approximately 17 million Brazilian real (€ 4.5 million) and an EBITDA-margin in line with that of the activities of Fagron in Brazil.

All Chemistry (www.allchemistry.com.br) was founded in 1997 in S√£o Paulo by the Paschoal family and has 40 employees. In 2017, All Chemistry developed and introduced a brand new nanotechnology line for dermatological use with great acceptance of the Brazilian compounding market. It is expected that the integration of All Chemistry will proceed smoothly and quickly and that the expansion of the current product portfolio and the extended customer base of Fagron in Brazil will offer All Chemistry significant future growth potential.

Hans Stols, CEO of Fagron: “The acquisition of All Chemistry is highly complementary to Fagron’s existing activities in Brazil and further strengthens our market leadership. Together with All Chemistry, we will continue to provide 5,500 compounding-only pharmacies in Brazil with innovative products and concepts, as well as value added services and trainings to address the evolving needs of patients. Whilst the macroeconomic environment in Brazil has been challenging over the last few years, the longer term fundamentals of the Brazilian compounding market remain highly attractive providing significant opportunities for future growth. I look forward to welcoming our new colleagues and working with them to take the combined business forward. The acquisition of All Chemistry is our second acquisition in 2017, following the acquisition of Kemig in Croatia. We will continue to strengthen our leading positions through an active buy-and-build strategy in our key regions Europe, North and South America. We are currently in talks with potential acquisition candidates and will provide further details when appropriate.”
